Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Education and Science when his Department will stop the encroachment of the catchment area of St. Mary's College, Ballygar, County Galway, at Dysart and Creggs; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a substantial number of students are attracted away from the college as a result of this encroachment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11127/99] Mr. Martin Mr. Martin Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin): My Department is not aware of an encroachment into the Ballygar catchment area at Creggs. Eligible pupils from the Creggs area currently avail of catchment boundary transport to an adjoining post-primary centre under the terms of the post-primary school transport scheme.
