Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 93 of 18 November 1998, he will give details of all new day and residential places provided for the mentally handicapped in each of the years 1997 and 1998; their location; the cost involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen): On 27 January 1999 Deputy Jack Wall requested, by way of an oral parliamentary question, a response to Parliamentary Question No. 93 of 18 November 1998. As the compilation of the information had at that point just been completed it was provided on that date to Deputy Wall and a copy is attached for the Deputy's information.
