80. Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Defence if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 123 of 11 November 1998, the review of the revised complaints procedures has been undertaken; if so, the conclusions of this review; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9434/99]

Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith): The review of the grievance procedures referred to by the Deputy is being undertaken by sub-committees of the Conciliation Council which have been established with both RACO and PDFORRA. By agreement with the associations, the proceedings of such sub-committees are confidential to the parties involved and it would not be appropriate for me to comment further at this time.
