Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the sport and recreational activities recognised by the Olympic Council of Ireland and the International Olympic [436] Committee; if any particular activity is seeking recognition and experiencing difficulty in obtaining recognised status; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been in contact with the Olympic Council of Ireland to facilitate details of arrangements for federations currently recognised by the IOC, to be forwarded to the Deputy, for his information.
