Mr. McCreevy Mr. McCreevy
Minister for Finance (Mr. McCreevy): I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that, according to the information available to the inspector of taxes, the taxpayers' allowances for the current tax year are as follows:
The balance of the taxpayers' income is liable to tax at 46%.
The inspector has issued a tax-free allowance revision form to the taxpayers to enable them to notify the inspector of any adjustment to these allowances that may be necessary.
