63. Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the total subvention from the Exchequer to Córas Iompair Éireann in 1999 and any special allocation to Bus Átha Cliath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4661/99]

Minister for Public Enterprise (Mrs. O'Rourke): The total Exchequer subvention to CIE in 1999 will be £108,884,000 of which CIE has allocated £9,244,000 to Dublin Bus.

Dublin Bus has also been allocated capital funding of £21 million in 1999 for the purchase of 150 additional buses.
