176. Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a new Garda station will be constructed in Kilfinane, County Limerick. [25087/98]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): It is proposed to build a new Garda station at Kilfinane. A possible site has been identified in the area and Garda management is deciding on its suitability. It is not possible to say at this stage when the project might be advanced as it is dependent on overall priorities and the availability of finance.
