Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 329 of 30 June 1998, the progress, if any, made in relation to the provision of 100 per cent grants to disabled persons grant applications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Molloy): Improvements to the terms of the disabled persons grant scheme are under examination in the context of the Government's programme, An Action Programme for the Millennium. I hope to be in a position to announce decisions arising from this examination in the near future.
