Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen): Due to the time period required in confirming diagnosis, statistics on tuberculosis are compiled by my Department on an annual basis. Therefore, the most recent data available relates to 1997. The reported incidence, by health board, for the period 1995 to 1997 is as follows:
