Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Dempsey) Noel Dempsey
Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Dempsey): Issues such as better enforcement of planning law and the taking in charge of housing estates are being considered as part of the comprehensive review of planning legislation which I initiated in August 1997. Arising out of the review I propose shortly to bring to Government a comprehensive set of proposals for reforming planning legislation.
