Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if funding will be approved for phase two of the works required to deal with the persistent flooding from the Camac which flows from Brittas, County Dublin through Corkagh Park, Clondalkin and Inchicore before joining the Liffey at Heuston Station; if the proposed construction of the control and holding ponds in Corkagh Park could be carried out in conjunction with the creation of two artificial fishing lakes at the park for which funding has already been provided by the Department of the Marine and Natural Resources; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
