207. Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of children who have been adopted from another country in each health board area for each year since 1994. [14157/98]

Minister for State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Fahey): Statistical detail relating to foreign adoption is analysed under a range of headings in the Annual Report of the Adoption Board, which is available from the Government Publications Office. The information is not collated by health board area. A summary of the details relating to the number of foreign adoptions recognised and entered in the Register of Foreign Adoptions for each year since 1994 is as follows:

208. Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the average waiting time for the completion of an application for an inter-country adoption in each health board area for each year since 1994. [14158/98]

209. Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of social workers in each health board area who are engaged in evaluating applications for inter-country adoption. [14159/98]
