Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that proper visiting rights are extended to persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny whose three children were taken into care in 1996 following which two hours in every two weeks were given to them as visiting rights; if he will have investigations made into this case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Fahey): The taking of children into care in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. I have arranged to have the details of the case referred to the chief executive of the board and he has been asked to reply directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
