60. Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when an inspection will be carried out for the purposes of a new house grant for persons (details supplied) in County Sligo. [10866/98]

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Molloy): It is a statutory condition of the new house grant scheme that the maximum floor area of the house must not exceed 1346 sq. ft, 125 sq. metres. Following a recent inspection, it was reported that the house was over this limit and, as a result, a further inspection has been arranged by a senior inspector of the Department to review the position.

61. Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when persons (details supplied) in County Cork will [1224] receive payment of their new house grant. [10906/98]
