105. Mr. Naughten asked the Taoiseach the State boards under his responsibility which has a member under the age of 30; the nominator of this member to the board; and the measures, if any, he proposes to increase the number of young people on these boards. [4364/98]

The Taoiseach: Appointments to State boards are made on the basis of the qualifications and suitability of the individuals concerned. Records are not maintained in respect of the ages of such individuals.
