Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the progress, if any, his Department has made with regard to replacing the installation aid scheme; the groups and organisations, if any, with whom he has had discussions about this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. Walsh): My Department is in the process of drawing up a revised scheme of installation aid targeted towards smaller farmers.

Meetings are being arranged with the farming organisations to discuss the revision of the existing scheme.
