157. Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the volume of milk yielded since the introduction of the 10 per cent clawback on land leases. [10272/97]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry (Mr. Yates): To date an amount of 2,231 gallons of milk quota has been taken into the national reserve under the terms of the clawback arrangements introduced in October 1996.
