108. Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will ensure funding is arranged for all farmers with milk quotas of less than 35,000 gallons in order to enable them to upgrade their dairy premises to the required EU 9246 standard. [9440/97]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry (Mr. Yates): I will consider reintroducing a scheme of grant aid for investment in dairy hygiene should the necessary funding become available following the mid-term review of the co-financed structural programmes.
