245. Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education the proposed start date for renovations to a school (details supplied) in County Mayo. [8080/97]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): The tender documentation for the renovations at the school referred to by the Deputy is currently in preparation. A decision on a start date will be contingent of the funding available when the tender documents are ready.

246. Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Education if she will approve the commencement of work to repair the roof of Beaufort College, Navan, County Meath. [8081/97]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): The planning and building unit of my Department has requested County Meath vocational education committee to carry out a more comprehensive examination of the roof at Beaufort College, Navan, County Meath.

When the additional information has been assessed by the Department's technical staff, the matter will be advanced further.
