[5986/97] Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach) Niamh Bhreathnach Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): I am aware of the position in the school in question. I appreciate the concern of the parents and pupils. My Department is monitoring the situation. However, the resolution of the dispute is a matter, in the first instance, for the management of the school and the teacher union involved. I understand that a facilitator has been appointed and that discussions are ongoing between the facilitator and the parties concerned with a view to an early resolution of the dispute. It would not be appropriate for me to intervene at this time. Dáil Éireann 475 Written Answers. School Dispute. Questions 19970304
