Ryan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he met with the consortium behind the Dublin 2000 proposal for the Dublin docklands; the discussions, if any, he has had on the matter with Bord Gáis Éireann; if so, if he will give details of those discussions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1283] Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Energy and Communications (Mr. Stagg): I recently met representatives of the Dublin 2000 consortium to discuss their interest in property owned by Bord Gáis Éireann in the Dublin docklands. I explained to them that the disposal of property by Bord Gáis Éireann is a matter for the board in which I have no statutory function.
