Minister for Enterprise and Employment (Mr. R. Bruton) Richard Bruton
Minister for Enterprise and Employment (Mr. R. Bruton): The CORI part-time job opportunities programme is a three year pilot programme which was scheduled to end in June 1997. Given that there will be wind down issues and that some individual projects did not start on time it will be end September before the project is completely finished. Funding is being made available in 1997 which will allow for the pilot programme to be completed.
An evaluation of the pilot programme has just been completed, and I am now considering the consultant's findings and whether there are any elements of the pilot programme which could be absorbed into mainstream programmes.
