Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan, Limerick East): The proposal for the develoment of facilities in Dunshaughlin was initiated on 2 December 1993. The formal design plan was approved on 5 March 1996. The costs were approved on 24 July [449] 1996 and the tendering process was also approved on that date. The North-Eastern Health Board received sanction for the job on 23 September 1996 and approval to sign a contract for the job on 21 November 1996.
