Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

58. Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Health the reason speech therapy is not being provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24; the action, if any, being taken to provide the speech therapy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4618/97]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan, Limerick East): The provision of speech therapy in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer, Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine this query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
