Written Answers. - Tax Reliefs.

62. Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, he has to allow tax relief, with specific defined perimeters, on corporate donations given to approved charities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2436/97]

Minister for Finance (Mr. Quinn): Charities generally already enjoy significant benefits under the tax code. There is no general scheme of tax relief on corporate donations to charities and I have no plans to introduce such relief at present.
