[1541] 174. Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Education if she will assist a community (details supplied) in County Galway in respect of the provision of community amenities. [19869/96]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): My Department has no record of receiving an application from the community group in question. On receipt of an application the project will be given every consideration in the event of funding being provided for the recreational facilities scheme in 1997.
