99. Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay in supplying spectacles [1511] to a person (details supplied) in County Galway. [19845/96]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan, Limerick East): The provision of ophthalmic treatment to eligible persons in County Galway is the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to review the case of the person named by the Deputy and to inform the Deputy of the outcome of this review.
