Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice the resources available to her and the Minister(s) of State at her Department for the running of ministerial offices and constituency offices in terms of support services, finance and personnel, established and non-established, programme managers and special advisors; if she will give a breakdown in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen): I will refer the Deputy to my reply to his Question No. 118 on the same subject on 14 February 1996 (Official Report, columns 1369-1370). The position has not changed since that time.

The provision of support services is financed from the Vote of the Office of the Minister for Justice. It is not possible to ascertain separately the amount of these associated costs.
