Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): I propose to take Questions Nos. 17, 28, 32, 36, 39, 40, 44, 49, 53, 68 and 81 together.

There is no provision for maternity leave under the terms of the schemes under which school secretaries are employed. However, I am currently investigating the possibility of providing schools with additional capitation funding towards the cost of replacement cover of school secretaries during maternity leave.
