Brennan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the implementation cost incurred by the ESB during 1994: and the early or voluntary severance payments which occurred that year by way of lump sums, part pay, pension contributions, voluntary severance costs and any other costs. This included all staff exit costs. This figure can be analysed as follows: lump sums, £1.1 million; part pay, £2.2 million; pension, £5.0 million; total, £8.3 million. Mr. S. Brennan Mr. S.
