Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education the code of practice used in respect of crowd control at indoor concerts; whether this code of practice is voluntary; her views on whether this code of practice needs to be reviewed and updated; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): I am not aware of a code of practice in respect of crowd control at indoor concerts.

The holding of indoor concerts is governed by a number of legislative provisions under the Departments of Justice, Health and the Environment. Any review of these provisions is a matter for those Departments in the first place.
