82. Mr. Kirk asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the building project for Ardee fire station, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6821/96]

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Howlin): Louth County Council's proposals in respect of a new fire station in Ardee are under consideration in my Department. A decision will issue to the council as soon as possible.
