Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Education if she will examine the situation regarding the provision of a third classroom at Ballyclerihan national school, Clerihan, Clonmel, County Tipperary in view of the fact that there are a total of 62 pupils, 34 boys and 28 girls, enrolled at the school. Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): My Department has recently received a request for an additional classroom at Ballyclerihan national school. The request is currently being considered and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities shortly.
