174. Mr. M. Smith asked the Minister for Defence the date DFR S7 was signed; the date a constitution and set of rules for the Reserve Defence Force Representative Association received Ministerial approval required under DFR S7; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the constitution and rules have been ratified by the delegates of the association as stipulated in DFR S7; and the changes, if any, in DFR S7 that have been proposed by the association. Minister for Defence (Mr. Barrett): Defence Force Regulations S7 were signed on 2 July 1992. RDFRA has not proposed any amendments to the regulations. Since the constitution and rules of the association were furnished in November 1993 and approved by its delegates in December 1993 a number of administrative changes have taken place within RDFRA which necessitate minor amendments to these documents. These amendments are being examined within RDFRA at present and I anticipate receiving amendments which will enable me to ratify the association's constitution and rules shortly.
