128. Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Justice the arrangements, if any, which are in place to encourage a proper gender balance at each level of the Garda Síochána; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12387/95]

Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen): The Garda Síochána is an equal opportunities employer.
