Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan Limerick East): The Deputy will appreciate that it would be inappropriate of me to reply in the House to his question as it involves clinical details of an individual patient. On 18 May 1995, I informed the Deputy that I had asked the Assistant Inspector of Mental Hospitals to investigate this case. The Assistant Inspector's report has very recently been furnished to me and I will be in touch bilaterally with the Deputy [1259] in the very near future on the issues he has raised.
