82. Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Meath; the timetable for the extension; and if she [1445] will make a statement on the matter. [9659/95]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): I have included this school in the current building programme. The Department's architectural staff are working on a detailed sketch scheme for the extension. I expect that this will be ready by August and it will then be sent to the school management to seek planning permission. At this stage, I cannot estimate when the project will be undertaken, but it will be advanced as quickly as possible through all stages.
