56. Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Health if he will introduce a register of GPs who are willing to provide abortion information; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9915/95]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan, Limerick East): While I have no immediate plans to introduce such a register, the Department of Health is working with the health boards and with the Irish College of General Practitioners to assess how best to ensure that women in all parts of the country will have a choice of accessible services across the full spectrum of pregnancy counselling.
