36. Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Health the hospitals-nursing homes in the Dublin area which are geared for long term wheelchair bound non-elderly adult patients; the number of beds provided in each location; the length of waiting lists; and if a bed and suitable location can be found for a person (details supplied). [1332] Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan, Limerick East): The information sought by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department. I have asked the Eastern Health Board to collect this information as a matter of urgency following which I will be in touch with the Deputy on the matter.

As the provision of services in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned, I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to have the particular case mentioned examined as a matter of urgency and to reply directly to the Deputy.
