69. Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the present position regarding the Land Registry application of a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6671/95]

Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen): I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that Dealing No. C 516/95 is an application under section 49, i.e. acquisition of title by possession, of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which was lodged on 12 January 1995. I understand that, due to their complicated nature, such dealings usually take some time to process.

I am informed that this dealing is being processed at present and that the Land Registry will be in correspondence with the applicant's solicitors within the [852] next week on queries relating to this dealing.
