202. Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Education when approval will be given for an extra classroom and staff room for a school (details supplied) in County Galway. [2690/94]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): My Department received an application from the chairperson of the board of management for grant-aid in respect of the upgrading and extension of this school. The Department's professional advisers have been requested to furnish a report and recommendation on the school's application. When this is received and examined, a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities.
