179. Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health whether the ballot among directors of community care has resulted in a settlement of the ongoing industrial dispute affecting health boards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2517/94]

Minister for Health (Mr. Howlin): I am pleased that the result of the ballot of public health doctors was in favour of acceptance of the negotiated settlement [1565] terms. The doctors who took the industrial action resumed duty over three weeks ago.
