Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Stagg): This application was received on 17 October 1994. An inspection, with a view to payment of the grant, will be carried out when the applicant notifies my Department that he is in occupation of the apartment as his normal place of residence.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Stagg): To qualify for a new house grant, a contractor (s) registered for VAT, holding either a current From C2 or tax clearance certificate, must be engaged in the construction of the house. The VAT registered work, including materials purchased, must have a value of not less than £15,000.
