[1013] 135. Mr. Barrett asked the Minister for the Environment the reason Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council is not in a position to pay disabled persons grants for alterations to premises in 1994. [2312/94]

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Stagg): The operation of the disabled persons grant scheme in their functional area is a matter for Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. In the reply to a statement on the adjournment on 1 March 1994, I outlined in detail the arrangements governing the payment of grants under the scheme.
