Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the progress to date in implementing the recommendations of the task force on small business; the number of recommendations that have been implemented to date; the time schedule for other recommendations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1007] Minister for Enterprise and Employment (Mr. Quinn): The small business and services division was established within the Department of Enterprise and Employment to oversee the implementation of the recommendations of the Task Force on Small Business.

Significant progress has been made to date, with 25 of the 121 recommendations now implemented or partially implemented. Preparatory work has begun on all other recommendations and they are being dealt with on a priority basis.
