Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications (Mr. Cowen): Since the Government was formed, I visited Northern Ireland once to mark the official opening of the Shannon/Erne Waterway at Corraguil Lock, Teemore, County Fermanagh on 23 May, 1994.

The Minister of State at my Department has not visited Northern Ireland during the period in question.
