Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for the Environment if the Government has made final decisions in relation to the report of the Dublin Transportation Initiative, particularly in relation to funding for a single carriageway port access route from Whitehall to North Port and truck management proposals; if so, the timescale for these projects; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Smith): The Community Support Framework 1994 to 1999, agreed by the Government and the European Commission, makes provision for the implementation of the principal roads, public transport and traffic management recommendations of the DTI final report. I hope to be able to make a more detailed statement on specific aspects in the near future when the final [1154] report of the Dublin Transportation Initiative is being formally published.
