Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Mr. Dempsey): The Whips have met and agreed to put the following amendment to the Order of Business today to the House: notwithstanding the order of the Dáil this morning, statements shall now take place on the Community Support Framework and the following arrangements shall apply: (1) the opening statement of the Minister and the main spokesperson of the Fine Gael Party, the Progressive Democrats Party and the Technical Group shall not exceed 20 minutes in each case, the statement of each other Member called on shall not exceed 15 minutes in each case and business shall be interrupted not later than 8.30 p.m. tonight.
