Written Answers. - Repairs to Butlersbridge (Cavan) School.

151. Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the condition of the windows in Butlersbridge national school, Butlersbridge, County Cavan, which are in need of repair; if her attention has further been drawn to the dampness caused as a result of this and the danger this is to pupils' safety and health; and in view of this, if she will without further delay sanction the replacement of the windows.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): The problems outlined by the Deputy in regard to Butlersbridge national school, County Cavan have been brought to my attention and my Department's professional advisers have been requested to report on the matter. This report will be considered by my Department's and a decision regarding a grant will be conveyed to the school authorities in due course.
