80. Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment when the review group in respect of local authority employment and employment in the public service will report; and when he expects to be in a position to make a statement on the matter.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. M. Smith): I am not aware of the existence of any such review group. However, local authority managers have been asked to provide information in connection with a survey on employment potential being undertaken by the Department of Enterprise and Employment.
